Adopt a Bunny and Save a Life
The best place to adopt a rabbit is a sanctuary, like Great Lakes Rabbit Sanctuary; the humane society or animal shelter; or a rescue and foster group, such as the House Rabbit Society or Texas Rabbit Rescue. Purchasing a rabbit from a breeder is not a lovely suggestion for reasons. First, doing so encourages further breeding, and this leads to more rabbits finally being abandoned, neglected, and euthanized at shelters. As in the case of canines and felines, there basically are not as plenty of lovely homes as there's needy rabbits. Second, plenty of breeders sell animals to make money. Sanctuaries, shelters, and rescue groups, on the other hand, exist for the beneft of the animals, not to make a proft.
