Age and Size Bunny
A well cared for rabbit can live an average of 8-12 years. There's even been cases of rabbits living beyond 12 years! Adult bunnies over a year elderly are simpler to litter-train & less destructive, in the event that they are neutered/spayed.
They are also more likely to enjoy being petted because they are less active & energetic than child rabbits.
Rabbits range in size from dwarf, weighing as tiny as two 1/2 pounds, all the way up to extra-large breeds like the Flemish Giant with an average weight of 13-16 lbs. Like people, each rabbit is an individual
with a distinctive character.
Usually speaking, however, huge rabbits tend to be more placid & easy-going than smaller breeds. They are as well as a more sensible choice for a household with children as they are going to be less likely to be picked up & dropped (rabbits can basically break their back from a fall).
